This new incredibly flat washer is designed not to destroy you race suit, your rib protector, or more importantly, your body.

Care must be taken if used with a normal countersunk bolt because with regular un-modified bolts the countersink could bottom out on the seat stay on a thin seat with no spacers.

TK3/TK4 Tillett Nylon Washer / Spacer Kits

The Tillett nylon anti penetration washers conform to the CIK and MSA seat mounting regulations.

All seats must have a metal or nylon reinforcement on all anchorage points between the seat supports and the seat. Reinforcement washers must have a minimum thickness of 1.5 mm and a diameter of at least 40 mm. All supports must be bolted or welded at each end.
