TILLETT LATEST NEWS/PRODUCTS
Tillett Racing Seats displays the car seat range at the Autosport show at the NEC in Birmingham.
The Tillett car range was exposed to the public in whole for the first time. Judging by the public and trade reaction, they were impressed with the innovation and quality of the seats that were on show.
For someone with a wide chest and narrow hips it can be difficult finding a seat that fits.
The T11 WT (Wide Top) range is larger across the chest dimension and takes away the gap down by the hips.
The use of a hard rib protector like the Special Tillett Personalised rib protector or even the R4, can increase this dimension significantly and this is where the T11 WT range can be of real benefit.
The T11 WT is available in all rigidities with a size range of S, Manetti, MS and ML with a XScd T5Rev WT size for the smaller drivers.
Narrow, super rigid and 7 kg the B6 F is like no other FIA seat. The B6 F fits into a huge range of limited space cockpits which far exceeds any other FIA seats in the market. Now there is finally a serious race seat option for historic race cars where other seats simply will not fit.
The B6 F not only has side mounting points but an upper mounting point and a headrest mounting point for ultimate strength and security.
Made by injection and cut by robot every B6F has a guaranteed thickness and consistency of moulding that other makes cannot match.
Covering is unnecessary on this seat but it is available as an extra cost option.
Prices start from £444.00 plus vat for the black GRP finish.

Tillett Racing Seat's Laura Tillett is to compete for the CRG factory team in the 2011 season.
Racing in the KF1 World and WSK Championships she will be driving CRG karts and Maxter engines.
After years of practice already, Leonardo is about to start racing and with the publicity he is generating who would bet against him.
Supporting Wings for Life Lloyd was using a specially made Tillett rib protector and a standard RTM Tillett T8 injected kart seat. Both items performed faultlessly throughout the record making drive.
From now on customers in the Midlands can test the whole range of Tillett car racing seats at Demon Tweeks showroom in Wrexham.

The B6F is now starting it's FIA testing schedule and we expect success after this initial test showed no failure of the composite. The official test takes place in the next few weeks.
The side mounted B6 F is only currently available to buy in a non FIA homologation version.
For the first time the car seat range is displayed at a major trade show. The interest was exceptionally good. Comments included "The best car seats I have ever seen" and "It's actually really comfortable!"

The latest evolution in the long line of Tillett Rib protectors is the R4. The internal construction of the R4 spreads the load in such a way that it keeps individual ribs from moving independently. At the same time the R4 does not dig into the driver at the edges and does not create any extra pressure points due to it's smooth comfortable toweling layered interior. It is also less likely to wear a hole in the race suits. The most significant improvement is that the R4 has been developed to be much better at protecting rear 3/4 and bottom rib injuries than previously available protectors. It is also very light and and is the thinnest hard shell rib protector available.

We can now supply this rental seat insert that takes the XL base seat down to an approximate MS size.

For those Cadet customers looking for ultra lightweight or flexibility, we now have available a really thin Carbon Kevlar KP specification and the less expensive Vti model.
These specifications have been designed to satisfy the demand to get the most flexible and light seats possible, without breaking. The XS T5KP weighing in at 420 gm.
They are available in T8 hand, T5 Rev, T10 and T11 shapes. The KP is priced as equivalent KG and Vti is price the same as a VG.
Only in sizes from C to Scd.

Sometimes a driver cannot reach the pedals and the seat will need to be mounted so far forward that the main side mountings do not line up with the side of the seat. These 8 mm thick steel powder coated brackets give another 50 mm of forward movement. They also weigh .5 of a kilo, helping with the extra weight that a small kart driver will require to make the minimum weight.
